DEEPEST CONDOLENCES

“My old trainer at the Rhondda ABC, Ivor (Pete) Bartlett has passed away yesterday,  Pete and Emlyn Jones started the Club back in the mid 60s and turned out many champions, Pete was a very good coach, and a gentleman of the first order. Brother John took over the Club some years ago, but Pete still kept an interest in the running of it. He was a strong member of the old Trainers Association, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. There are no funeral details as yet, but I shall inform you all in due course.  R.I.P.
