Sting - New Commercial Partnership

The exclusive, five-year sponsorship deal means Sting will become the Official Equipment and Clothing Supplier for Welsh Boxing’s elite performance programme and domestic tournaments.

Welsh Boxing’s Head of Performance, Adam Park, said “This is great news for the Welsh Boxing Performance Programme. Sting is a renowned boxing equipment and apparel supplier, and this deal benefits our boxers at every level of the performance pathway. The nature of the deal allows Welsh Boxing to support the programme, individual athletes, and the development of our National Boxing Centre. Support like this will help Welsh Boxing to drive our sport to a higher level, in and out of the ring”.

The new partnership gives Welsh Boxing’s affiliated clubs exclusive pricing on Sting’s coveted product range. Welsh Boxing’s Head of Community Boxing, Gareth Evans, said “It’s important for our organisational growth that we explore commercial opportunities such as this. This partnership enhances WABAs brand across the boxing landscape, providing great opportunities for our membership and network of clubs to access first class equipment, while adding sparkle to our domestic, WABA led competitions.”

Welsh Boxing is the recognised national governing body for boxing in Wales and is a member of both the International Boxing Association and World Boxing. Welsh Boxing is a member organisation with 126 clubs spread across Wales.
