Ronnie Morris

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Ronnie Morris of Cwmgors ABC. Welsh Boxing have been informed he recently passed away.

Ronnie became a Welsh Boxing Life Member last year, in recognition of his commitment to the sport.

Ronnie started in 1958, boxing in Amman Valley ABC, he spent three years at Towy ABC and then set up Cwmgors ABC in 1985. He had many champions come through over the years. As a coach, he had been the lead coach within Cwmgors, but also part of the Welsh Boxing coaching team in the latter part of the last century, spending 15 years as assistant to Tony Williams.

Condolences to the his family, all who knew him at Cwmgors ABC and the Welsh Boxing fraternity.
