Socikas Tournament Results

After a challenging month – Samson Leyson, Taylor Bevan, Ioan Croft, Garan Croft, Rosie Eccles and Billy Unsworth competed in the Socikas International Tournament in Lithuania.

QF:

Taylor Bevan (WAL) v Anton Embulaev (FIN)

Sam Leyson (WAL) v Avton Borzsei (SWE)

Taylor won his bout and unfortunately Sam was withdrawn from the competition with injury.

SF:

Rosie Eccles (WAL) v Saadat Dalgatoua (RUS)

Ioan Croft (WAL) v Tyler Jolly (SCO)

Garan Croft (WAL) v Lukasz Zydjula (POL)

Taylor Bevan (WAL) v Oleksandr Shytyi (UKR)

All 4 Welsh Boxers won their bouts.

Finals:

Gold: for Rosie Eccles, Billy Unsworth and Taylor Bevan.

Silver: for Ioan and Garan Croft.

An outstanding performance from the whole team.
