Conditions of Entry

Boxers must have had 0-5 bouts to enter the competition.

Novice bouts round durations are defined as 3 x 2 minute rounds with a 1 minute rest interval.

Any boxer who has won a Novice championship then cannot enter any future Novice event, and is listed as Open Class.

Any boxer who has competed in an Open Class championship cannot box as a Novice in any welsh domestic event.

Medical cards will be retained after the boxer’s first bout.

Gloves for the appropriate weight will be supplied for competition only.

Head guards will be used in all female, junior and youth bouts.

All competitors MUST comply with the WABA Code of Conduct including abiding by UKAD regulations and guidelines.

Welsh Boxing reserves the right to refuse and/or expel any competitor for inappropriate conduct.

Welsh Boxing reserves the right to refuse and/or expel any person who by law or repute is connected to, or associated with, a member and is behaving as such as would constitute misconduct if that person was a member.
