Wales v England – Senior International

The second international followed on Wednesday 7 October, with Wales facing England in a senior contest.

The Welsh team continued to gain valuable experience on the international stage.

Final score: Wales 1–6 England.

Although the results did not go Wales’ way overall, the internationals provided important opportunities for boxers to test themselves against opposition from across the border, gain experience and continue their development.

Female Development Camp

Alongside the international fixtures, Welsh Boxing also hosted a women’s development camp at Sophia Gardens, bringing together 12 of Wales’ female boxing prospects

The camp provided an opportunity for the athletes to work together, develop their skills and continue progressing within the sport.
