• The Club Coach Award provides coaches with an introduction to the principles and practice of safe, ethical and effective management and coaching of boxers as a lead coach up to National Competition Level.

• This qualification, qualifies coaches to become a lead coach in the coaching of the skills and techniques of the sport of boxing.

• The Club Coach Award provides candidates with an opportunity to study and be assessed for both the practical and theoretical aspects of coaching boxing to children and adults. The knowledge gained will enable candidates to develop an understanding of the process of coaching, developing their coach skills and technical development in coaching boxing.

• The course is both theoretical and practical based, including classroom and gym based work. Candidates are expected to participate fully in all aspects of the course, evidenced by completion and submission of a verified coaching workbook.

• Upon successful application, candidates will receive joining instructions as confirmation of their course place and what to bring to the course.
