Finally, the Positive Vibes Boxing & Wellness Academy is using its grant to strengthen its unique wellbeing-focused programme, combining the benefits of boxing with wider community health support.

Strengthening Communities Through Sport

The Be Active Wales Fund has proven pivotal in keeping boxing accessible and affordable. By reducing financial barriers, these grants are ensuring that young people, families, and communities can stay engaged in a sport that promotes discipline, resilience, and wellbeing.

Additionally, there have also been a number of Energy Saving Grants that have reached stage 2 of the grants process. Recently, Guerilla ABC, Warehouse ABC, DJ Boxing Gym, Llynfi Valley ABC, Ogmore Valley Dragons ABC have all advanced to the next stage of their application.

Welsh Boxing congratulates all of the clubs who have secured funding. We also extend our thanks to Sport Wales for their continued support of grassroots sports and their commitment to improving community boxing in Wales.
