Latest Statement from Welsh Boxing

Following the latest Government advice concerning the Coronavirus, Friday 20 March, the message could not be clearer, all gyms are to close.

Welsh Boxing, therefore, issued a directive to its affiliated clubs that clubs must close until further notice by 6pm on Sunday, 22 March. This gave clubs the opportunity to prepare for such a closure.

These are extremely difficult times, but it’s essential we do what it takes to ensure we remain as safe as possible and that boxing does it bit to help alleviate the current situation.
