Joymo’s streaming solution enables us to make the entire event available for fans to watch wherever and whenever they choose, in a single and easily accessible destination.

“Providing this live content stream is a really positive step for boxing enthusiasts and for the athletes themselves. There is no doubt it will help us engage more people with this great sport as we continue to promote and develop amateur boxing in Wales.”

Commenting on the collaboration, Mike Emery, CEO of Joymo, said: “Joymo exists to empower sports organisers and participants - at all levels - by providing them with the tools, resources and technology to broadcast directly to their fans and make sure that they never miss a moment of the sport they love.

“The WABA is a progressive organisation who are driving participation at all levels and have some of the boxing stars of tomorrow on their pathway programmes. We are excited to help them unlock and realise the value of their content and to make some of the best amateur boxing action available to fans to watch anytime and anywhere via Joymo.”

Founded in Norway in late-2017, Joymo offers remote broadcasting solutions that enable federations, leagues and clubs to film or livestream training, matches, events or competitions in a safe, secure way.

Through innovative technology - including a dedicated recording app and an over-the-top streaming platform built purely for sport - Joymo enables athletes, teams and sports organisers at every level of competition to sell pay-per-view access to their content with revenues going back directly to the creators.

In the last year, Joymo has successfully launched into the UK and Ireland and has partnerships in place with multiple partners, including the Welsh Sports Association and Hockey Wales.
