NEW APPOINTMENT – COMMUNICATIONS & CONTENT CREATION OFFICER

Welsh Boxing is delighted to announce the appointment of our new Communications and Content Creation Officer.

Cameron Hitt joins the Welsh Boxing team to drive our content creation in support of our community and performance strategies. This will enable us to showcase the impact boxing has across our communities and at the elite level in Wales.

Cameron has recently completed his Masters degree in sports broadcast from Cardiff Met University. He has experience of working with other Welsh sports and was part of a working group from Cardiff Met University who assisted Welsh Boxing with the broadcast of our National Championships and Three Nations earlier this year.

Welsh Boxing CEO Colin Metson said, “We welcome Cameron to the team and look forward to expanding communications from our existing clubs and across our communities so that we can share these uplifting stories with everyone.”

Cameron added, “I’m really pleased to get started and grateful to Welsh Boxing for the opportunity. I’m looking forward to getting into the community and gather stories from across the membership to spread the fantastic work that happens across the boxing community.”
