NEW APPOINTMENT – HEAD OF PERFORMANCE

Following a review of the staff structure, Welsh Boxing is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Head of Performance.

Adam Park will move from his current role as Head of Pathways to this newly created role on 3 April 2023.

He will join the Performance Programme staff team of Colin Jones MBE, Zack Davies, Connor Gething and Amy Garrett. Colin will continue as Head of Coaching.

Adam has made a positive impact across many areas of the organisation since he joined us in 2016 and fully deserves this promotion.

CEO Colin Metson said: “Adam, in his role as Head of Pathways, has shown all the necessary skills required strategically and operationally to move into this new position. He is well-respected within Welsh Boxing, as well as having the confidence of our main partners Sport Wales and GB Boxing, to carry out this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for Adam to continue his personal development and we look forward to continuing success within the Welsh Boxing Performance Programme.”
