North Wales Box Cup 2025 - Entires Open

Welsh Boxing is pleased to announce that entries for the North Wales Box Cup 2025 are now open. The event will take place at Deeside Leisure Centre from June 27 to 29, bringing together top amateur talent for a competitive weekend of boxing.

This annual tournament is a key date in the Welsh Boxing calendar, and we look forward to welcoming clubs and boxers from across Wales — and beyond — to this year's edition.

Event Categories:

  • Minors A

  • Minors B

  • Schools A

  • Schools B

  • Novice Elites

  • Open Elites

Each category is limited to 16 boxers. Groups with 9 to 16 entrants will be split into two brackets to ensure a full competition schedule including Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals.

Entry Details:

  • Platform: All entries must be submitted via Sport:80

  • Entry Fee: £25.00 per boxer

  • Entry Deadline: 12:00 PM on Tuesday 10 June (or earlier if categories fill)

A Welsh-only entry window is in place until Friday 16 May. After this date, entries will open to all clubs and boxers affiliated to their respective national federations.

Important Dates:

  • Draw Published: Friday 13 June by 4:00 PM

  • Refunds: Issued for any unmatched boxers following the draw
