Thank you Zoe Andrews

As Zoe Andrews steps away from the Welsh Boxing Performance Programme, we want to thank Zoe for everything she has brought to the team since joining full time in 2021.

Zoe has had some tremendous achievements within Welsh Boxing — from becoming Welsh Champion, to being crowned British Champion in 2019 & 2023, and earning multiple international medals on the world stage, including a European Junior Bronze Medal in 2019.

Zoe represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in 2022 at just 19 years old, and in 2024, she joined GB Boxing.

Zoe’s commitment, work ethic, and boxing ability have made a lasting mark on Welsh Boxing. We’re proud of all you've achieved and can’t wait to see what’s next in your journey.

Welsh Boxing Performance Director Adam Park said:

“On behalf of everyone at Welsh Boxing, I want to express our sincere thanks to Zoe Andrews for her contribution to the Welsh Boxing Performance Programme.

Zoe has been a key figure within our programme for several years, proudly representing Wales on the international stage. Her bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in Romania in 2019 marked her as a rising talent, and her selection to represent Team Wales at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games was a reflection of her continued dedication and growth.

Zoe’s journey to become part of Team GB required significant sacrifice, commitment, and resilience and we are proud of all she achieved. While she now walks away from both GB Boxing and Welsh Boxing, Zoe will always be part of our community.

From all of us at Welsh Boxing — thank you, Zoe! We wish you every success in the next stage of your career.”
