Bevan (2-0, 2 KOs) controlled the opening round, using his sharp jab and movement to measure his opponent before stepping up the pressure in the second. A thunderous right uppercut sent Kajda (1-1-1) crashing to the canvas, marking the beginning of the end for the Polish fighter.

Although Kajda managed to beat the count, Bevan wasted no time in pressing the action, landing another punishing uppercut that forced his opponent to take a knee. The referee allowed the contest to continue, but Bevan capitalised on the opportunity, trapping Kajda against the ropes and unloading a final flurry of punches that forced the referee to step in and stop the fight at 91 seconds of round two.

After the bout Bevan spoke of the role preparation played in his emphatic victory “Having over 100 fights in the amateurs, all the quality sparring and putting the work in the gym makes you feel relaxed in here and gives me faith in my ability.”

Matchroom Boxing Chairman, Eddie Hearn, was full of praise for the Welshman “Kid’s got the ability to go all the way, good head on his shoulder. Quality fighter.”

Bevan’s victory further cements his reputation as an exciting prospect in the professional ranks. His next fight is scheduled for the 28th of March 2025 in Manchester, as he continues his professional journey.
