Welsh Boxing Chair Visits Cardiff

Welsh Boxing’s Chair, Jason Harborow was in Cardiff this week for a productive and inspiring visit, meeting with key partners and members of our boxing community across Wales.

During his time in the capital, he held a valuable meeting with divisions from across the country, discussing the continued development and future direction of Welsh Boxing.

He also met with Sport Wales CEO, Brian Davies, where they spoke about the future of the Welsh Boxing and Sport Wales partnership and the exciting opportunities ahead for the sport in Wales.

The visit also included time with our Elite Performance Programme boxers and coaches, recognising the hard work being put in as we continue to strengthen our pathway to success on the international stage.

To round off the day, the Chair visited Tiger Bay ABC, one of the clubs involved in the Moves Different Project, highlighting the fantastic work being done at grassroots level to engage communities and grow the sport.
