Western Division Squad’s Impressive Year

The West Division squad had an incredibly impressive 2025 of competition. A squad of 25 boxers travelled to Scotland to face the Scottish Divisional team, narrowly losing 13–12. Considering the strength of the Scottish team, the performance was outstanding, with many of our boxers securing wins against more experienced opponents.

The squad also competed at the Wexford Box Cup in Ireland, taking 14 boxers and returning with 13 medals (3 Gold, 5 Silver, and 5 Bronze) A tremendous achievement against strong competition.

Both trips provided invaluable experience for the boxers, coaches, and committee, who are extremely proud of what has been achieved this year. The Division has big plans for the future, with many more trips already in the pipeline, watch this space!
