Owain began boxing at 7 years old, starting at Apollos ABC to burn some energy! Boxing quickly became a lifestyle for Owain becoming a full time programme member for Welsh Boxing and eventually competing and winning bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Boxing quickly became a lifestyle for Owain becoming a full time programme member for Welsh Boxing and eventually competing and winning bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Owain is now a part of the GB Boxing Podium squad and competed in a 2024 Paris Olympics qualifier last year. Alongside boxing Owain has volunteered for Street games and Disability Sport Wales. Owain has also been a spokesman for Autism and ADHD in sport.
