The partnerships include a renewed agreement with Sting, alongside new collaborations with HCR Law and Brecon Carreg. Together, these partners will play a key role in supporting Welsh Boxing’s ambitions across both its Community and Performance pillars.

The continued partnership with Sting reinforces a long-standing relationship that has consistently delivered high-quality equipment and support to athletes across the pathway. Sting’s renewed commitment to the community programme reflects confidence in the direction Welsh Boxing is taking.

HCR Law joins as the new official legal partner, bringing expertise and support from one of the UK’s leading legal firms. Their involvement represents an important step in strengthening the organisation’s professional infrastructure, ensuring Welsh Boxing continues to operate at the highest standards both inside and outside the ring.

Brecon Carreg also comes on board as the official hydration partner, aligning with Welsh Boxing through a shared commitment to health, wellbeing, and performance. Welsh Boxing is the recognised national governing body for amateur boxing in Wales and is responsible for all affiliated amateur clubs in Wales.

Welsh Boxing was established in 1910 and has 135 affiliated clubs with over 3,500 members, including boxers, coaches, officials and participants.

As a membership organisation, Welsh Boxing is a member of European Boxing and World Boxing.

Significant stakeholders include Sport Wales, GB Boxing and Team Wales.

Boxing has a rich history of success in the Commonwealth Games and is one of the 10 sports in the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
