Royston Chambers remembered

It is with deep sadness that we report the death of Roy Chambers.

He was a well-known and respected ex-Chairman of WABA, team manager for GB Boxers at the 2004 Athens Olympics, team manager many times for Welsh boxers, Chairman of the East Division, President of St Joseph’s (East) ABC to name a few of his many accolades.

His friends and colleagues from St Joseph’s (East) ABC will gather on 14 October 2024 at 1230 at the club to accompany Roy on his final journey to St Michael’s Church for the funeral service at 1330.

Any one is welcome to join the procession.

No flowers. Roy wanted any donations to be made to the club in memory of his lifelong love of boxing and tremendous contribution that he made to the sport.
